International audience; Within the last twenty years, cultural institutions have unquestionably entered the digital age. The technological advances in terms of scanners, search interfaces, storage media or internet connection have offered new opportunities for managing and valorising collections. At present, thousands of documents have been scanned and new technologies are an integral part of each step of the production of knowledge: accessibility of sources, content analysis, conservation and valorisation.
