Eléments d'une communication scientifique ouverte et publique

Abstract

International audience; Le paysage actuel de la communication scientifique est en pleine tension, entre d’une part une communauté scientifique qui aspire à des mécanismes plus fluides et moins coûteux de diffusion des résultats de recherche et d’autre part, un tissu privé d’édition scientifique qui vise à préserver au maximum un chiffre d’affaires construit à partir de modèles d’un autre âge. Nous essayerons dans ce cadre d’identifier différents éléments qui permettraient de concevoir des environnements de diffusion de l’information scientifique plus adaptés aux possibilités techniques actuelles, mais aussi aux capacités financières et éditoriales de la recherche publique. De façon très pragmatique, nous repérerons des pistes d’évolution liées aux infrastructures techniques, aux licences, à la relecture par les pairs ou à la diffusion de données, en partant de l’expérience acquise au sein d’Inria depuis plusieurs années, mais nous essayerons aussi d’esquisser une vision intégrée qui puisse fournir une base cohérente pour les actions à mener à l’avenir.
