Large gatherings are non-existent and everybody is at home. That’s 2020, today. Most countries have reduced social interactions to a minimum. Food markets, drugstores and gas stations remain open. But shopping malls, cinemas, coffee shops and pubs have closed their doors for the foreseeable future. The Covid-19 pandemic is among us, ready to strike the most vulnerable and sometimes also the healthy, rich and posh. Covid-19 impacts every social strata. This is a key difference between this disease and the plagues that have been taking lives in the peripheral countries for decades. Pulmonary and respiratory diseases are among the leading causes of death worldwide. But according to the WHO 1 (2018), the so-called Group I conditions (communicable diseases, maternal conditions arising during pregnancy and childbirth, and nutritional deficiencies) are particularly devastating among the low-income populations. Until today, music making has predominantly been done through face-to-face, synchronous interactions. While it is true that some forms of music making ⎼ for instance, studio post-production or karaoké ⎼ rely on resources that are prepared offline, the implicit target of musical activity is to make sound together, if possible in person and at the same time. The current pandemic has turned the traditional forms of music making into high-risk and in some cases potentially deadly activities. So is music making becoming an activity for a select elite, secluded from the mundane buzz and divorced from community exchanges, again? The answer from the ubimus community is a strong no!

    International audience; Dans une forme d’éthique réflexive et collective, les auteurs se sont attachés à dresser un panorama des problèmes qui ont trait à la vaccination, mis en exergue dans le contexte de la pandémie due au coronavirus.A partir du constat des hésitations, des défiances et des résistances face à la vaccination, dans un contexte où les incertitudes sur l’avenir persistent, les auteurs proposent des cadrages interprétatifs et interrogent particulièrement l’opposition individualisme vs solidarité. Ils abordent les questions d’éthique essentielles qui se posent à l’échelle collective : y a-t-il une façon de bien informer et communiquer sur les vaccins ? Quelle stratégie vaccinale est-elle juste et efficace ? Quelles conséquences ont eu les mesures de lutte contre le virus sur les enfants et les adolescents ? En matière d’obligation vaccinale, est-ce que la fin justifie les moyens ? Les libertés individuelles peuvent-elles être écartées au profit du bien collectif ? Quels sont les enjeux de justice internationale et globale de distribution juste des doses de vaccin dans le monde ?

    Authors: Hasiak, Sophie;

    International audience Cet ouvrage porte un regard rétrospectif sur dix ans de la mobilité urbaine en France. Les analyses permettent d’apprécier les dynamiques actuelles de mobilité et d’identifier les enjeux pour éclairer et orienter les futures politiques de déplacements. Ainsi, les questions qui se posaient à l’orée des années 2010 ainsi que la crise sanitaire liée au Covid-19, amènent à une grande humilité lorsque l’on souhaite se projeter sur ce qu’il va se passer dans un avenir plus ou moins proche. Le dernier chapitre de cet ouvrage ouvre donc sur quelques grands thèmes pouvant venir bouleverser ou non les pratiques de mobilités. Cet article invite à examiner le rôle que pourrait avoir la politique de développement de voies dédiées au covoiturage.

  • Authors: Rochette, Corinne;

    The patient experience is a variable that has been neglected or even ignored for a long time in the health field, even if it is an important resource for improving and adapting patient care. The patient empowerment initiated in the 1970s is the main manifestation of what can be described as a new paradigm: a more and more active patient, actor of health and his care and finally with a specific form of expertise. This evolution is founded on a process of legitimisation in order that the lived experience of illness can be transformed into an accepted and recognised expertise. The health crisis caused by the coronavirus 19 offers a particularly relevant field for studying this process of legitimation. Indeed, many patients infected with covid 19 report persistent and acute symptoms that are not explained at first and therefore not recognised by society and institutions. Based on the literature on legitimacy and by studying the action of the French association #ApresJ20 we identify the main stages of the process of recognition of Covid Long patient expertise.; L'expérience patient constitue une variable longtemps délaissée voire ignorée dans le champ sanitaire, pourtant elle est une ressource importante pour faire évoluer et adapter les prises en charge des patients. L'empowerment du patient initié dans les années 1970 est la principale manifestation de ce qui peut être qualifié de nouveau paradigme : un patient de plus en plus actif, acteur de la santé et de ses soins et finalement doté d'une forme particulière d'expertise. Cette évolution repose sur un processus de légitimation afin que l'expérience vécue de la maladie puisse se transformer en expertise reconnue et admise de tous. La crise sanitaire provoquée par le coronavirus 19 offre un terrain d'étude de ce processus de légitimation particulièrement pertinent. En effet, de nombreux patients infectés pas la covid 19 rapportent des symptômes persistants et aigus non expliqués dans les premiers temps et donc non reconnus par la société et les institutions. En nous appuyant sur les travaux portant sur la légitimité et en étudiant l'action de l'association française #ApresJ20 nous dégageons les grandes étapes du processus de reconnaissance de l'expertise patient Covid Long.

    International audience; In the spring of 2020, a planetary health crisis In the spring of 2020, the Covid 19 epidemic led to the closure of all schools and the confinement of the entire population. A first in the history of the school in France! There are therefore 12.3 million pupils in primary and secondary education 1 and 1.7 million students 2 in higher education who have been asked to study at home. And these are approximately 870,000 teachers who have had to invent new ways of teaching and supporting their students, all at a distance from their school, from their own home and in the space of a few days.; Au printemps 2020, une crise sanitaire planétaire Au printemps 2020, l'épidémie de Covid 19 a entrainé la fermeture de tous les établissements scolaires et le confinement de toute la population. Une première dans l'histoire de l'école en France ! Ce sont donc 12,3 millions d'élèves de l'enseignement primaire et secondaire 1 et 1,7 millions d'étudiants 2 du supérieur à qui il a été demandé d'étudier à la maison. Et ce sont à peu près 870 000 enseignants qui ont dû inventer de nouvelles manières d'enseigner et de prendre en charge leurs élèves, le tout à distance de leur établissement scolaire, depuis leur propre domicile et en l'espace de quelques jours.

    ELPIS v-Law Review; International audience; “We are at war”. These words were pronounced on Monday, 16th March 2020 by the French President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, who called for national unity against an “invisible enemy” called Corona virus or Covid-19.But the war terminology, the declaration of a State of emergency and the management of the crisis within the framework of the Defence Council are not appropriate to resolve public-health issues. On the one hand, the role of this Council is not to participate to the management of a health crisis and, on the other hand, the final decision should be up to the legislator in a parliamentary system like the French one.Finally, the crisis reveals that neither the Parliament nor local democracy can fight against the “super-presidentialism”. In other words, it reveals the lack of democratic checks and balances and the political and institutional malfunctions of our Fifth Republic.

    International audience; Dans une forme d’éthique réflexive et collective, les auteurs se sont attachés à dresser un panorama des problèmes qui ont trait à la vaccination, mis en exergue dans le contexte de la pandémie due au coronavirus.A partir du constat des hésitations, des défiances et des résistances face à la vaccination, dans un contexte où les incertitudes sur l’avenir persistent, les auteurs proposent des cadrages interprétatifs et interrogent particulièrement l’opposition individualisme vs solidarité. Ils abordent les questions d’éthique essentielles qui se posent à l’échelle collective : y a-t-il une façon de bien informer et communiquer sur les vaccins ? Quelle stratégie vaccinale est-elle juste et efficace ? Quelles conséquences ont eu les mesures de lutte contre le virus sur les enfants et les adolescents ? En matière d’obligation vaccinale, est-ce que la fin justifie les moyens ? Les libertés individuelles peuvent-elles être écartées au profit du bien collectif ? Quels sont les enjeux de justice internationale et globale de distribution juste des doses de vaccin dans le monde ?

    International audience; Avec l'impromptu du covid-19, toutes les démocraties ont été largement prises au dépourvu. Comment concilier un souci de ne pas paralyser l'écconomie, une volonté de répondre au besoin social de protection des citoyens, une nécessité de garder une crédibilité politique dans le respect des principes démocratiques ?

    Authors: Hasiak, Sophie;

    International audience Cet ouvrage porte un regard rétrospectif sur dix ans de la mobilité urbaine en France. Les analyses permettent d’apprécier les dynamiques actuelles de mobilité et d’identifier les enjeux pour éclairer et orienter les futures politiques de déplacements. Ainsi, les questions qui se posaient à l’orée des années 2010 ainsi que la crise sanitaire liée au Covid-19, amènent à une grande humilité lorsque l’on souhaite se projeter sur ce qu’il va se passer dans un avenir plus ou moins proche. Le dernier chapitre de cet ouvrage ouvre donc sur quelques grands thèmes pouvant venir bouleverser ou non les pratiques de mobilités. Cet article invite à examiner le rôle que pourrait avoir la politique de développement de voies dédiées au covoiturage.

  • Authors: Rochette, Corinne;
