Taking enormous users in the Smart Health-care System into considera- tion, access control is an important issue. Traditional access control models, discretionary access control, man- datory access control, and role-based access control, do not properly reflect the characteristics of Smart Health-care System. This paper proposes an advanced access control model for the medical health-care environ- ment, task-role-based access control model, which overcomes the disadvantages of traditional access control models. The task-role-based access control (T-RBAC) model introduces a task concept, dividing tasks into four categories. It also supports supervision role hierarchy. T-RBAC is a proper access control model for Smart Health-care System, and it improves the management of access rights. This paper also proposes an implementa- tion of T-RBAC, a binary two-key-lock pair access control scheme using prime factorization.

In this paper we map the LCA algorithm on the brain-inspired, IBM TrueNorth Neurosynaptic System. We discuss data structures and representation as well as the architecture of functional processing units that perform non-linear threshold, vector-matrix multiplication. We also present the design of the micro-architectural units that facilitate the implementation of dynamical based iterative algorithms. Experimental results with the LCA algorithm using the limited precision, fixed-point arithmetic on TrueNorth compare favorably with results using floating-point computations on a general purpose computer. The scaling of the LCA algorithm within the constraints of the TrueNorth is also discussed.

To the best of our knowledge, this work presents the first protocol that allows one of the parties to delegate PSI-CA computation to untrusted servers. At the heart of our delegated PSI-CA protocol is a new oblivious distributed key PRF (Odk-PRF) abstraction, which may be of independent interest.

The "point" ranking of vulnerabilities in the zone of railway influence was used for more accurate information on the events with applying the identity matrices of vulnerabilities. The partition cell is taken as a single "point". The method is based on the ranking of ecological, economic, environmental, bioresource and cultural significance of the territory by means of defining identical matrices of vulnerabilities that describe each point of the event. The partition cells were grouped into three clusters: moderately vulnerable territory, highly vulnerable territory and extremely vulnerable territory. The result of using the method was the compiling of vulnerability ranking maps.

It is proven that the photovoltaic conversion or the use of heat of Sun radiation, the water energy, the utilization of the wind, the biomass production, the use of geothermal energy can all produce big amounts of energy for human use. In addition, the nuclear energy from fission is a technology, which has already long history and is widely used. However, these all, like the fossil energy sources, have great impacts on the environment. Nevertheless, the comparison of the environmental effects of these alternative energy sources is not easy. The effects are of considerable different natures and their spatial and the time distributions vary on large scales. The present work overviews the principles and the methodological prerequisites of performing a comparative analysis of the environmental effects for the non-fossil energy production methods. After establishing the basic principles for comparison, we shall go through all the non-fossil energy sources and analyze the most important environmental impacts of each energy production method. In conclusion, the comparison of the environmental effects will be discussed.

We first adapt standard techniques available for affine (time-varying) systems to the considered class of systems, which leads to new linear matrix inequality-based conditions for the design of the estimator gains. We then explain how to derive decoupled estimators in the sense that the state and the parameter estimates are generated by cascaded switched differential equations, which is numerically more efficient and thus easier to implement in practice. A first solution is presented, which generates state estimates with jumps at the switching instants. To overcome this potential issue, two "bumpless" strategies are proposed. The first one relies on a persistency of excitation (PE) condition, while the the second one applies to a given class of switching rules and avoids the PE condition. Both estimation strategies ensure the global exponential convergence to zero of the estimation errors. The results are illustrated on a model describing the behavior of a DC-DC power converter.

Although the methodology applies to general scenarios, the present work focuses on a situation with an asymmetric observation structure that only involves two agents. More precisely, one of the agents knows the past, present, and future realizations of a state (the system state) that affects the common payoff function of the agents; in contrast, the second agent is assumed either to know the past realizations of the system state or to have no knowledge of it. In both cases, the second agent has access to some strictly causal observations of the first agent's actions, which enables the two agents to coordinate. These scenarios are applied to the problem of distributed power control; the key idea is that a transmitter may embed information about the wireless channel state into its transmit power levels so that an observation of these levels, e.g. the signal-to-interference plus noise ratio, allows the other transmitter to coordinate its power levels. The main contributions of this paper are twofold. First, we provide a characterization of the set of feasible average payoffs when the agents repeatedly take long sequences of actions and the realizations of the system state are \acs{iid}. Second, we exploit these results in the context of distributed power control and introduce the concept of coded power control. We carry out an extensive numerical analysis of the benefits of coded power control over alternative power control policies, and highlight a simple yet non-trivial example of a power control code. Knowing the visibility potential of local materials is essential to create visual clarity that supports the ease of spatial orientation and navigation and provides a meaningful visual experience in urban public facilities. This study aims at finding the property quality of objects from local materials that contribute to the visibility potential. Field studies were conducted to identify different types of products from local materials and their characteristics associated with the quality of space experience. The visibility analysis using 3D software program then was carried out by simulating the placement of objects as elements of space in a particular spatial configuration. The result reveals several patterns of possible placement of objects from local materials that have the best potential to enhance visibility. These patterns can add to the alternative vocabulary in architectural design.

International audience; An algorithm for voltage sag detection based on rectified voltage processing is presented and its performances are evaluated by means of simulated and real voltage waveforms (recorded at some Low Voltage busbars and measured on a scaled prototype of a voltage support system). The algorithm is intended to detect voltage sag occurrence and to trigger the disconnection of the faulty supply network and subsequently the connection of a voltage support system. The algorithm is very convenient in terms of memory storage and computational requirements and may be implemented on low cost platforms. The results show that the time for detection is very short and always less than a quarter of the supply voltage period.

While convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are gaining increasing attention in image analysis, it is still challenging to adapt them to produce fine-grained classification maps. This is due to a well-known trade-off between recognition and localization: the impressive capability of CNNs to recognize meaningful objects comes at the price of losing spatial precision. We here propose an architecture that addresses this issue. It learns features at different levels of detail and also learns a function to combine them. By integrating local and global information in an efficient and flexible manner, it outperforms previous techniques.

Taking enormous users in the Smart Health-care System into considera- tion, access control is an important issue. Traditional access control models, discretionary access control, man- datory access control, and role-based access control, do not properly reflect the characteristics of Smart Health-care System. This paper proposes an advanced access control model for the medical health-care environ- ment, task-role-based access control model, which overcomes the disadvantages of traditional access control models. The task-role-based access control (T-RBAC) model introduces a task concept, dividing tasks into four categories. It also supports supervision role hierarchy. T-RBAC is a proper access control model for Smart Health-care System, and it improves the management of access rights. This paper also proposes an implementa- tion of T-RBAC, a binary two-key-lock pair access control scheme using prime factorization.

In this paper we map the LCA algorithm on the brain-inspired, IBM TrueNorth Neurosynaptic System. We discuss data structures and representation as well as the architecture of functional processing units that perform non-linear threshold, vector-matrix multiplication. We also present the design of the micro-architectural units that facilitate the implementation of dynamical based iterative algorithms. Experimental results with the LCA algorithm using the limited precision, fixed-point arithmetic on TrueNorth compare favorably with results using floating-point computations on a general purpose computer. The scaling of the LCA algorithm within the constraints of the TrueNorth is also discussed.

The "point" ranking of vulnerabilities in the zone of railway influence was used for more accurate information on the events with applying the identity matrices of vulnerabilities. The partition cell is taken as a single "point". The method is based on the ranking of ecological, economic, environmental, bioresource and cultural significance of the territory by means of defining identical matrices of vulnerabilities that describe each point of the event. The partition cells were grouped into three clusters: moderately vulnerable territory, highly vulnerable territory and extremely vulnerable territory. The result of using the method was the compiling of vulnerability ranking maps.

It is proven that the photovoltaic conversion or the use of heat of Sun radiation, the water energy, the utilization of the wind, the biomass production, the use of geothermal energy can all produce big amounts of energy for human use. In addition, the nuclear energy from fission is a technology, which has already long history and is widely used. However, these all, like the fossil energy sources, have great impacts on the environment. Nevertheless, the comparison of the environmental effects of these alternative energy sources is not easy. The effects are of considerable different natures and their spatial and the time distributions vary on large scales. The present work overviews the principles and the methodological prerequisites of performing a comparative analysis of the environmental effects for the non-fossil energy production methods. After establishing the basic principles for comparison, we shall go through all the non-fossil energy sources and analyze the most important environmental impacts of each energy production method. In conclusion, the comparison of the environmental effects will be discussed.

We first adapt standard techniques available for affine (time-varying) systems to the considered class of systems, which leads to new linear matrix inequality-based conditions for the design of the estimator gains. We then explain how to derive decoupled estimators in the sense that the state and the parameter estimates are generated by cascaded switched differential equations, which is numerically more efficient and thus easier to implement in practice. A first solution is presented, which generates state estimates with jumps at the switching instants. To overcome this potential issue, two "bumpless" strategies are proposed. The first one relies on a persistency of excitation (PE) condition, while the the second one applies to a given class of switching rules and avoids the PE condition. Both estimation strategies ensure the global exponential convergence to zero of the estimation errors. The results are illustrated on a model describing the behavior of a DC-DC power converter.

Although the methodology applies to general scenarios, the present work focuses on a situation with an asymmetric observation structure that only involves two agents. More precisely, one of the agents knows the past, present, and future realizations of a state (the system state) that affects the common payoff function of the agents; in contrast, the second agent is assumed either to know the past realizations of the system state or to have no knowledge of it. In both cases, the second agent has access to some strictly causal observations of the first agent's actions, which enables the two agents to coordinate. These scenarios are applied to the problem of distributed power control; the key idea is that a transmitter may embed information about the wireless channel state into its transmit power levels so that an observation of these levels, e.g. the signal-to-interference plus noise ratio, allows the other transmitter to coordinate its power levels. The main contributions of this paper are twofold. First, we provide a characterization of the set of feasible average payoffs when the agents repeatedly take long sequences of actions and the realizations of the system state are \acs{iid}. Second, we exploit these results in the context of distributed power control and introduce the concept of coded power control. We carry out an extensive numerical analysis of the benefits of coded power control over alternative power control policies, and highlight a simple yet non-trivial example of a power control code. Knowing the visibility potential of local materials is essential to create visual clarity that supports the ease of spatial orientation and navigation and provides a meaningful visual experience in urban public facilities. This study aims at finding the property quality of objects from local materials that contribute to the visibility potential. Field studies were conducted to identify different types of products from local materials and their characteristics associated with the quality of space experience. The visibility analysis using 3D software program then was carried out by simulating the placement of objects as elements of space in a particular spatial configuration. The result reveals several patterns of possible placement of objects from local materials that have the best potential to enhance visibility. These patterns can add to the alternative vocabulary in architectural design.

International audience; An algorithm for voltage sag detection based on rectified voltage processing is presented and its performances are evaluated by means of simulated and real voltage waveforms (recorded at some Low Voltage busbars and measured on a scaled prototype of a voltage support system). The algorithm is intended to detect voltage sag occurrence and to trigger the disconnection of the faulty supply network and subsequently the connection of a voltage support system. The algorithm is very convenient in terms of memory storage and computational requirements and may be implemented on low cost platforms. The results show that the time for detection is very short and always less than a quarter of the supply voltage period.

While convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are gaining increasing attention in image analysis, it is still challenging to adapt them to produce fine-grained classification maps. This is due to a well-known trade-off between recognition and localization: the impressive capability of CNNs to recognize meaningful objects comes at the price of losing spatial precision. We here propose an architecture that addresses this issue. It learns features at different levels of detail and also learns a function to combine them. By integrating local and global information in an efficient and flexible manner, it outperforms previous techniques.
