Este será um estudo transversal, observacional e comparativo de jovens atletas femininas para ajudar a desenvolver duas capacidades físicas essenciais: a força e a flexibilidade. O objetivo será caracterizar descritiva e comparativamente a força e a flexibilidade de praticantes de Ginástica e de Patinagem Artística. Além disso pretendemos perceber em que medida se observavam influências mútuas entre as variáveis avaliadas. Os participantes são 35 atletas femininas de ginástica (9.8 ± 2.05 anos) e 35 atletas femininas de patinagem artística (10,57 ± 2,66 anos). Foram avaliados níveis de força e flexibilidade através da Bateria de Testes do FitEscola. O estudo comparativo paramétrico realizado sinalizou diferenças estatisticamente significativas (p=0,02) em apenas uma prova: no teste de abdominais, o seu valor (t=-2,30) sinaliza melhores resultados no grupo das patinadoras. O estudo correlacional paramétrico (r de Pearson) sinalizou correlações estatisticamente significativas entre as variáveis de desempenho, no entanto apenas encontrámos uma associação positiva (p=0,02) entre a variável grupo e a força abdominal. Os resultados obtidos mostram que não foram observáveis diferenças significativas entre ginastas e patinadoras na maioria das qualidades físicas avaliadas. A exceção foram os resultados obtidos na avaliação da força abdominal e da flexibilidade dos membros inferiores. No entanto, as pequenas diferenças que não chegam a ser significativas devem-se ao facto de nesta idade as atletas ainda não realizarem trabalhos específicos de força, sendo o enfase dado às habilidades motoras coordenativas para que a técnica seja melhorada This will be a cross-sectional, observational and comparative study of young female athletes to help develop two essential physical abilities: strength and flexibility. The objective will be to characterize descriptively and comparatively the strength and flexibility of gymnastics and figure skating practitioners. Furthermore, we intend to understand the extent to which mutual influences were observed between the evaluated variables. Participants are 35 female gymnastics athletes (9.8 ± 2.05 years) and 35 female figure skating athletes (10.57 ± 2.66 years). Levels of strength and flexibility were assessed using the FitEscola Test Battery. The comparative parametric study performed showed statistically significant differences (p=0.02) in only one test: in the sit-up test, its value (t=-2.30) indicates better results in the group of skaters. The parametric correlational study (Pearson's r) signaled statistically significant correlations between the performance variables, however we only found a positive association (p=0.02) between the group variable and abdominal strength. The results obtained show that no significant differences were observed between gymnasts and skaters in most of the physical qualities evaluated. The exception was the results obtained in the assessment of abdominal strength and lower limb flexibility. However, the small differences that are not significant are because, at this age, the athletes still do not perform more specific strength work, with the emphasis being given to coordinating motor skills so that the technique can be improved

En este trabajo presentamos un nuevo conjunto de datos y benchmark orientados a la tarea de similitud semántica en letras de canciones. Nuestro conjunto de datos, originalmente formado por 2775 pares de canciones en Español, fue anotado en un experimento de anotación colectivo por 63 anotadores nativos. Después de recoger y refinar los datos para asegurar un alto grado de consenso e integridad en los datos, obtuvimos 676 pares anotados de alta calidad que fueron empleados para evaluar el rendimiento de diferentes modelos del lenguaje monolingües y multilingües pertenecientes al estado del arte. En consecuencia, obtuvimos unos resultados base que esperamos sean de utilidad a la comunidad en todas aquellas aplicaciones académicas e industriales futuras que se realicen en este contexto. In this paper, we present a new dataset and benchmark tailored to the task of semantic similarity in song lyrics. Our dataset, originally consisting of 2775 pairs of Spanish songs, was annotated in a collective annotation experiment by 63 native annotators. After collecting and refining the data to ensure a high degree of consensus and data integrity, we obtained 676 high-quality annotated pairs that were used to evaluate the performance of various state-of-the-art monolingual and multilingual language models. Consequently, we established baseline results that we hope will be useful to the community in all future academic and industrial applications conducted in this context. [EN]Digital Humanities is an inherently collaborative field of research. The wide range of stakeholders, as well as the ever changing methodologies, hold the potential for innovation but also carry a constant threat of miscommunication. Design is a fixed partner in Digital Humanities and their practices are closely intertwined. However on a practical level, design is most commonly regarded as an implementation technique rather than an equal part of the theoretical framework. We propose to utilize design as a research tool by developing a set of Design Probes which are created to address the specific needs and challenges of collaborative research in Digital Humanities. We describe design and technical implementation methods, as well as the theoretical context and the possible outcome of this proposal.

This poster has been awarded with the Best Poster Award at DARIAH2020 virtual annual event https://twitter.com/dariaheu/status/1327290958971609090?s=21 In order to provide the global community of scholars working in this field with a greater understanding of the current Spanish scenario, LINHD has recently promoted a research on the evolution of Digital Humanities in Spain in the last 25 years, a timeframe comparable with Unsworth first formulation of scholarly primitives. More than 1,000 records have been mapped, distributed as follow: 577 researchers; 368 projects; 88 resources; 9 post-graduate courses; and 8 specialised journals. Digital resources (i.e. repositories of documents, collections of artefacts, crowdsourcing platforms, dictionaries, databases, etc.), which are the object of this poster, have been produced, most of the time, with the aim to publish a service to improve the basic of day-to-day research workflow in the Humanities. Our initial objectives were: to classify and describe the digital resources mapped according with the classical and new scholarly primitives, in order to highlight presences, absence and recurring associations of these categories; To visualize the relationships between scholarly primitives and other dimensions in our data, like discipline and typology. to identify how the introduction of digital tools and methods has affected the basic functions of research in the Humanities in Spain over time. In the domain of Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) institutions, creative and innovative tools and methodologies for content delivery and user engagement have recently gained international attention. New methods have been proposed to publish digital collections as datasets amenable to computational use. Standardised benchmarks can be useful to broaden the scope of machine-actionable collections and to promote cultural and linguistic diversity. In this article, we propose a methodology to select datasets for computationally driven research applied to Spanish text corpora. This work seeks to encourage Spanish and Latin American institutions to publish machine-actionable collections based on best practices and avoiding common mistakes. To initiate pathogenic development, pathogenic fungi respond to a set of inductive cues. Some of them are of an extracellular nature (environmental signals), while others are intracellular (developmental signals). These signals must be integrated into a single response whose major outcome is changes in the morphogenesis of the fungus. The regulation of the cell cycle is pivotal during these cellular differentiation steps; therefore, cell cycle regulation would likely provide control points for infectious development by fungal pathogens. Here, we provide clues to understanding how the control of the cell cycle is integrated with the morphogenesis program in pathogenic fungi, and we review current examples that support these connections.
