description Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Project deliverable , Other literature type 2023 EnglishPublisher:Zenodo Funded by:EC | BlueBioEC| BlueBioAuthors: Sveinsdóttir, Hildur Inga; Sigurðardóttir, Andrea Rakel; Guðjónsdóttir, Maria; Lytou, Anastasia; +7 AuthorsSveinsdóttir, Hildur Inga; Sigurðardóttir, Andrea Rakel; Guðjónsdóttir, Maria; Lytou, Anastasia; Lerfall, Jørgen; Nordeng Jakobsen, Anita; Moen Kobbenes, Sine Marie; Fengou, Lemonia; Nychas, George-John; Johansen, Jørn-Owe; Hoff Hansen, Marcus; This deliverable provides an overview of results of experimental work performed in three different pilots aiming to cover the three different seafood value chains within the project. Each pilot partner (AUA, NTNU, UoI and MATIS), individually, designed experiments relevant to their value chain taking into consideration results of D2.3 and discussion with stakeholders and VIDEOM provided sensors and support. The collected data serves as inputs for further use and analysis, i.e., machine learning model training and deployment. Detailed results of the pilots will be presented in scientific publications to ensure the findings can be distributed to stakeholders effectively. The overview provided in the deliverable shows that the evaluated equipment, the VideometerLab and VideometerLite prototypes showed great potential for evaluation of freshness, both of whole fish and fillets, and could be used for detection of fillet flawes or parasites with good accuracy. The applications of these devices within the seafood value chains provide new possibilities for traceability and non-destructive methods for quality control. The devices are built for by-line use by quality control personell, in the fish market or wherever relevant stakeholders desire a way to further monitor or evaluate their samples and with relatively quick imaging time and good range of wavelengths it provides that. For some specific functions the devices could be further developed based on results from the pilots or further add-ons developed to ease imaging of large samples but for most the devices performed well.

This policy document is based on the experience of the HECAT project in researching, developing and piloting the www.mylabourmarket.com tool, in partnership with ESS, the Slovenian Public Employment Service, and reports on the challenges and opportunities of turning labour market data into a citizen tool. Traditionally this data has been developed for economic planners and policy makers, and so the data infrastructure has been designed to be aggregated, for the relatively short timelines of policymakers and using constructs that are useful to national planning. We encountered four challenges in returning this data to the people from whom it was collected. We outlined our prototyped and piloted solution and showcased the three key MyLabourMarket Tools: Pay Visibility Time Unemployed Estimates Job Quality

For the purpose of this study, a case building was monitored for over 12 months in Cyprus, recording over 60 sensors within the building related to heating, cooling, lighting, and appliances. A set of operational indicators were extracted and demonstrated with the purpose of establishing a dataset of operational measurements for buildings in Cyprus. Normalization practices related to occupancy and weather correction factors are also discussed. Following the guidelines of ISO 52003 on the operational rating of buildings, the study concludes with the definition of representative values for the actual energy performance of buildings in Cyprus, delivering typical operational rates for the Cypriot building stock. The case study building is also examined, with regard to its operational rating, based on the average value of the Cypriot building stock. This study aspires to set the grounds for the development of an operational rating scheme for the island state of Cyprus based on best practices and the normative framework for energy-efficient buildings

However, the level of cooperation and its challenges remain less defined and monitored. To address this, ESFRI conducted a report on RI cooperation, exploring existing documents and conducting surveys with RIs. The findings highlight the need for policy actions to enhance mutual benefits and overcome barriers such as different mindsets, access rules, and intellectual property rights. Understanding RIs' potential to assist industry and society is vital for optimal resource allocation and successful cooperation. The report emphasizes the importance of strategic analysis and ESFRI's role in defining the space for cooperation between RIs and technology infrastructures (TIs) to increase impact. The recommendations provided serve as a valuable input for advancing the RI-Industry cooperation landscape.
