    Les plaines inondables des grands fleuves tropicaux sont des milieux caractérisés par leurs inondations périodiques au rythme des crues et des décrues. La littérature est abondante à souligner l’aspect paradoxal de ces écosystèmes, entre milieux ‘productifs’, naturellement fertilisés par les dépôts d’alluvions, et milieux ‘contraignants’ et ‘risqués’. Les modes d’exploitation mis en place par les populations vivant dans les plaines inondables sont variés mais dans la majorité des cas, les populations combinent des activités agricoles avec des activités de pêche, de pastoralisme, de chasse, et d’extraction de produits forestiers ligneux et non ligneux. La complémentarité des activités de production est reconnue dans la plupart des études comme une adaptation permettant de valoriser la diversité des ressources naturelles aux différents stades d’inondation, mais cette pluriactivité est rarement examinée en détail. En adoptant une démarche interdisciplinaire, systémique et diachronique, ce travail de thèse vise à démontrer en quoi la pluriactivité favorise l’adaptation des populations à un environnement fluctuant dont la dynamique peut s’observer à trois échelles de temps : l’échelle saisonnière, l’échelle historique du ‘temps long’, et l’échelle de la vie de l’individu. Ce travail repose sur des entretiens ethnographiques, sur la collecte de données éco-hydrologiques, et sur des analyses du paysage réalisés pendant une période de terrain de huit mois dans le village de Mossaka dans la région de la Cuvette congolaise du bassin du Congo. Nous montrons dans un premier temps que l’association spatiale et temporelle d’une multiplicité de techniques de pêche, de plusieurs systèmes agricoles (agriculture sur champs surélevés et agriculture de décrue) dans lesquels est plantée une riche agrobiodiversité ainsi que de nombreuses autres activités dépendantes ou non des ressources naturelles, permettent aux habitants de Mossaka de s’adapter à la variabilité saisonnière du niveau d’eau. Ensuite, en reconstituant la diachronie du système social-écologique, nous regardons comment les différentes activités de subsistance et leur importance relative ont évolué depuis la période précoloniale et nous identifions les principaux leviers de changements. Nous décrivons plus particulièrement les changements démographiques, écologiques, économiques et sociaux qui ont conduit à l’adoption rapide de l’agriculture de décrue depuis une trentaine d’années. Enfin, en analysant les récits de vie de plusieurs habitants de Mossaka, nous montrons que la grande flexibilité des systèmes de subsistance pluriactifs des individus permet de répondre à différents enjeux et incertitudes notamment d’ordre social. Ce travail de thèse constitue un apport au faible nombre d’études qui regardent de manière intégrée les différentes activités composant les systèmes de subsistance en plaines inondables et se prononce en faveur d’une meilleure reconnaissance de la pluriactivité et également de la diversité sociale. Ce travail participe aussi à une meilleure compréhension de la région de la Cuvette congolaise qui, malgré son rôle écologique et économique majeur, a jusque-là peu attiré les intérêts scientifiques. Floodplains of large tropical rivers are environments characterized by periodic flooding from the river and its tributaries. Numerous studies emphasize the paradoxical aspect of these ecosystems, between ‘productive’ environments naturally fertilized by alluvial deposits, or 'constraining' and ‘risky’ environments. Livelihoods in the floodplains are varied, but in most cases people combine agricultural activities with fishing, pastoralism, hunting and the extraction of wild plant resources. Although the complementarity of production activities is recognized in most studies as an adaptation to exploit the diversity of natural resources at different stage of flooding, this multi-activity is rarely examined in detail. Adopting an interdisciplinary, systemic and diachronic approach, this thesis aims to demonstrate how multi-activity enhances the adaptation to a fluctuating environment whose dynamics can be observed at three main time scales: the seasonal scale, the historical scale and the scale of the individual's life. This work is based on ethnographic interviews, on collection of eco-hydrological data and on landscape analysis conducted during a period of eight months in the village of Mossaka in the Congolese cuvette region in the Congo basin. Firstly, we show that the spatial and temporal association of a diversity of activities allow the inhabitants of Mossaka to adapt to the seasonal variability of water level. These include a diversity of fishing techniques, several agricultural systems (raised-field agriculture and flood-recessional agriculture) in which a rich agrobiodiversity is planted, and many other activities—some depending on natural resources, others not. Secondly, by reconstructing the dynamics of the social-ecological system over time, we examine how the different activities, and their relative importance, have changed since the pre-colonial period and we identify the main drivers of change. In particular, we describe the demographic, ecological, economic and social changes that have led to the rapid adoption of flood-recessional agriculture in the last thirty years. Finally, by analyzing the life stories of several inhabitants of Mossaka, we show that the great flexibility of the multi-activity livelihood system allows people to adapt to different challenges and uncertainties—particularly social ones. This thesis contributes to the few studies that examine in an integrated manner the diversity of livelihood activities in floodplain environments, and advocates greater recognition of the importance of multi-activity livelihood systems and of social diversity. This work also contributes to a better understanding of the Congolese Cuvette region, which despite its major ecological and economic role has so far attracted little scientific interest.

    Les études météorologiques et/ou climatologiques nécessitent des données diverses et indépendantes issues d’observations satellitaires ou in-situ. La répartition des stations in-situ dans la zone Sahélienne est moins dense, ce qui diminue la précision des modèles globaux dans cette zone.Dans ce travail, on analyse le potentiel des données de télédétection pour la restitution de quelques paramètres météorologiques et l’étude de quelques cas de lignes de grains passant au-dessus de Dakar au cours de l’année 2013.En prélude, une analyse en composante principale des données mensuelles infrarouges et micro-ondes a permis d’étudier les répartitions mensuelles des signatures spectrales des canaux ATOVS.Afin de restituer la quantité d’eau précipitable, la température et l'humidité relative, nous nous servons des données de radiosondage et des données de températures de brillance mesurées par les radiomètres hyperfréquences AMSU-A et AMSU-B, ainsi que celles des capteurs infrarouges HIRS embarqués à bord des satellites NOAA et MetOp. Malgré leur potentiel intéressant, les radiomètres ATOVS ont jusqu'ici été peu exploités pour la restitution de ces paramètres surtout dans la zone Sahélienne. Deux approches sont utilisées pour faire cette restitution : larégression linéaire multiple et les réseaux de neurones artificiels Nous avons également explorés les potentialités des données microondes etinfrarouges ATOVS pour l’étude des lignes de grains. En utilisant cinq (05) cas de passage des lignes de grains au-dessus de Dakar, la signature atmosphérique des données ATOVS avant, pendant et après le passage des lignes de grains fût déterminée.Pour chacun des cas, une étude comparative entre les valeurs de température de brillance du cas considéré et celles de la moyenne d’été a permis d’observer les canaux ayant des grandes sensibilités. Meteorologische und / oder Klimastudien erfordern verschiedene und unabhängige Daten aus In-Situ- und Satellitenbeobachtungen. Die Verteilung der In-situ-Stationen in der Sahelzone ist weniger dicht, was die Genauigkeit der globalen Modelle in diesem Bereich verringert. In dieser Arbeit analysieren wir das Potenzial von Fernerkundungsdaten für die Wiederherstellung einiger meteorologischer Parameter und die Untersuchung einiger Fälle von Sturmlinien, die 2013 über Dakar verlaufen.Als Auftakt wurde eine Hauptkomponentenanalyse der monatlichen Infrarot- und Mikrowellendaten verwendet, um die monatlichen Verteilungen der Spektralsignaturen der ATOVS-Kanäle zu untersuchen.Um den ausfällbaren Wasserdampf, die Temperatur und die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit abzufragen, verwenden wir die mit den Mikrowellenradiometern AMSU-A und AMSU-B gemessenen Radiosonden- und Helligkeitstemperaturdaten sowie die Infrarotsensoren HIRS an Bord von MetOp- und NOAA-Satelliten. Trotz ihres interessanten Potenzials wurden ATOVS-Radiometer bisher nur wenig für die Wiederherstellung dieser Parameter verwendet, insbesondere im Sahel.Für diese Wiederherstellung werden zwei Ansätze verwendet: multiple lineare Regression und künstliche neuronale Netze. Wir untersuchten auch das Potenzial von Mikrowellen- und Infrarot-ATOVS-Daten für die Untersuchung von Böenlinien. ATOVS-Daten unter Verwendung von fünf (05) Fällen, in denen Böenlinien oberhalb von Dakar passiert wurdenEs wurde die atmosphärische Signatur vor, während und nach dem Passieren von Böenlinien bestimmt. In jedem Fall erlaubte eine Vergleichsstudie zwischen den Helligkeitstemperaturwerten und denen des durchschnittlichen Sommers, die Kanäle mit Haupt zu beobachtenEmpfindlichkeiten. Meteorological and / or climate studies require various and independent data from in-situ and satellite observations. The distribution of in-situ stations in the Sahelian zone is less dense, reducing global models accuracy in this area. In this work, we analyze the potential of remote sensing data for the restitution of some meteorological parameters and the study of some cases of squall lines passing over Dakar in 2013.As a prelude, a principal component analysis of the infrared and microwave monthly data was used to study the monthly distributions of the ATOVS channels spectral signatures.To retrieve the precipitable water vapor, temperature and relative humidity, we use the radiosonde and brightness temperature data measured by microwave radiometers AMSU-A and AMSU-B, as well as infrared sensors HIRS on board MetOp and NOAA satellites. Despite their interesting potential, ATOVS radiometers have so far been little used for the restitution of these parameters retrieval especially in the Sahelian area.Two approaches are used to make this restitution: multiple linear regression and artificial neural networks. We also explored the potential of microwave and infrared ATOVS data for the study of squall lines. Using five (05) cases of passing squall lines above Dakar, ATOVS dataatmospheric signature before, during and after the passage of squall lines was determined. In each case, a comparative study between the brightness temperature values and those of the average summer allowed to observe the channels having majorsensitivities.

    Les robots sont très largement utilisés dans l’industrie ; une de leurs limites actuelles est celle de la complexité́ des tâches que l'on souhaite les voir accomplir. Celles-là ne peuvent être réalisées sans un haut pouvoir d’adaptation, autrement dit aujourd’hui sans la performance et la plasticité́ de la cognition humaine. La cobotique est récemment apparue comme « le domaine » de la collaboration homme-robot. Elle s’affirme comme perspective pour aider l’homme, l’augmenter, dans la réalisation de tâches complexes pour l’Industrie du Futur.Pour délimiter notre objet d’étude, nous avons ainsi introduit le concept de « système cobotique ». Ce système comprend l’homme et le robot, qui interagissent et peuvent avoir différents rôles, pour réaliser une tâche commune. La conception des systèmes cobotiques doit évidemment prendre en compte les technologies émergentes, mais elle doit surtout intégrer l’homme, grâce à l’analyse de l’activité, à la formalisation des connaissances, et aux simulations participatives. Pour cela, à l’initiative de Safran Group, cette thèse d’ingénierie cognitique a été réalisée en binôme avec un roboticien également doctorant et membre du groupe industriel : David Bitonneau.Ensemble, nous avons proposé une approche interdisciplinaire de conception, appelée l’« ingénierie des systèmes cobotiques ». Cette approche méthodologique, validée à la fois par nos encadrants académiques et industriels, a été expérimentée afin de satisfaire un besoin industriel de la société Ariane Group : le nettoyage des cuves. Nous avons conduit ce projet, de l’analyse du besoin jusqu’à la réalisation d’un prototype qui a été évalué par les opérateurs. L’industrialisation du système est en cours de préparation au moment de la rédaction de cette thèse, avec des perspectives de déploiements sur plusieurs sites.Nous prévoyons que les systèmes cobotiques tels que nous les avons définis, conçus et étudiés, seront une des clés de la compétitivité de l’Industrie du Futur. Elle pourra s’appuyer sur leur flexibilité et leur connectivité à l’écosystème technologique des ateliers 4.0, tout en maintenant la place centrale de l’homme et en considérant celui-là comme acteur premier dans le système. Nowadays, robots are increasingly used in industrial processes. However, there is an upper bound on the tasks' complexity that industrial robots can execute. Some of these hard tasks can only be completed with a high adaptation capacity: the plasticity of human cognition. Research in Human Robot Collaboration targets the Industry 4.0 where robots will help and augment humans to achieve increasingly complex tasks.In this research, we introduce the concept of “cobotic system”. Such a system considers humans and robots - with possibly different roles - as interacting elements sharing a common purpose of solving a task. Clearly, creation of cobotic systems has to take into account emerging technologies, but it also has to include humans through activity analysis, knowledge formalization, and participative simulations. To do so, under the leadership of Safran Group, this cognitive engineering thesis has been completed as a team with the roboticist David Bitonneau.Together, we proposed the “cobotic system engineering”: a cross-disciplinary approach of cobotic system design. This methodological approach was motivated by an industrial need from Airbus Group: the difficulty of tank cleaning. We tackled this project from needs analysis to the creation of a prototype evaluated by actual operators. Additionally, the industrialization of our work is in progress.We argue that thanks to their flexibility, their connectivity to modern workshops' technological ecosystem and their ability to take humans into account, cobotic systems will be one of the key parts composing the Industry 4.0.

    Authors: Vallérian, Mathieu;

    In this thesis, a receiver architecture for a gateway in a urban sensors network was designed. To embed the multiple protocols coexisting in this environment, the best approach seems to use a reconfigurable architecture, following the scheme of the Software-Defined Radio (SDR). All the received signals should be digitized at once by the Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) in order to sustain the reconfigurability of the architecture: then all the signal processing will be able to be digitally performed. The main complication comes from the heterogeneity of the propagation conditions: from the urban environment and from the diversity of the covered applications, the signals can be received on the gateway with widely varying powers. Then the gateway must be able to deal with the high dynamic range of these signals. This constraint applies strongly on the ADC whose resolution usually depends on the reachable digitized frequency band. A first study is led to evaluate the required ADC resolution to cope with the dynamic range. For this the dynamic range of the signals is first evaluated, then the required resolution to digitize the signals is found theoretically and with simulations. For a 100~dB power ratio between strong and weak signals, we showed that the ADC resolution needed 21 bits which is far too high to be reached with existing ADCs. Two different approaches are explored to reduce analogically the signals' dynamic range. The first one uses the companding technique, this technique being commonly used in analog dynamic range reduction in practice (\emph{e.g.} in audio signals acquisition), its relevance in multiple signal digitization is studied. Three existing compression laws are explored and two implementations are proposed for the most efficient of them. The feasibility of these implementations is also discussed. In the second approach we propose to use a two-antennas receiver architecture to decrease the dynamic range. In this architecture two digitization paths are employed: the first one digitizes only the strongest signal on the band. Using the information we get on this signal we reconfigure the second branch of the architecture in order to attenuate the strong signal. The dynamic range being reduced, the signals can be digitized with an ADC with a lower resolution. We show in this work that the ADC resolution can de decreased from 21 to 16 bits using this receiver architecture. Finally, the promising two-antennas architecture is tested in experimentation to demonstrate its efficiency with dynamic signals (\emph{i.e.} with appearing and disappearing signals). Dans les réseaux de capteurs urbains, les nœuds émettent des signaux en utilisant plusieurs protocoles de communication qui coexistent. Ces protocoles étant en évolution permanente, une approche orientée radio logicielle semble être la meilleure manière d’intégrer tous les protocoles sur la passerelle collectant les données. Tous les signaux sont donc numérisés en une fois. La grande plage dynamique des signaux reçus est alors le principal problème : ceux-ci peuvent être reçus avec une puissance très variable selon les conditions de propagation. Dans le cas d’une réception simultanée, le Convertisseur Analogique-Numérique (CAN) doit être capable d’absorber une telle dynamique. Une première étude est menée afin d’établir les caractéristiques requises du CAN sur une passerelle d’un tel réseau de capteurs. La résolution minimale de 21 bits obtenue s’avérant trop importante pour être atteinte au vu de l’état de l’art actuel, deux approches différentes sont explorées pour réduire la plage dynamique des signaux avant la numérisation. La première approche s’appuie sur la technique du companding. Des lois de compression connues sont explorées afin d’étudier leur viabilité dans le cas de la numérisation de signaux multiples, et deux nouvelles implémentations sont proposées pour la plus performante d’entre elles. La deuxième technique proposée consiste en une nouvelle architecture de réception utilisant deux voies de réception. La première d’entre elles est dédiée au signal le plus fort sur la bande : celui-ci est démodulé et sa fréquence d’émission est mesurée. À partir de cette mesure, la seconde branche est reconfigurée de manière à atténuer ce signal fort, en réduisant ainsi la plage dynamique. Les autres signaux sont ensuite numérisés sur cette branche avec une résolution du CAN réduite. Cette deuxième approche semblant plus prometteuse, elle est testée en expérimentation. Sa viabilité est démontrée avec des scénarios de réception de signaux prédéfinis représentant les pires cas possibles.

    Les plaines inondables des grands fleuves tropicaux sont des milieux caractérisés par leurs inondations périodiques au rythme des crues et des décrues. La littérature est abondante à souligner l’aspect paradoxal de ces écosystèmes, entre milieux ‘productifs’, naturellement fertilisés par les dépôts d’alluvions, et milieux ‘contraignants’ et ‘risqués’. Les modes d’exploitation mis en place par les populations vivant dans les plaines inondables sont variés mais dans la majorité des cas, les populations combinent des activités agricoles avec des activités de pêche, de pastoralisme, de chasse, et d’extraction de produits forestiers ligneux et non ligneux. La complémentarité des activités de production est reconnue dans la plupart des études comme une adaptation permettant de valoriser la diversité des ressources naturelles aux différents stades d’inondation, mais cette pluriactivité est rarement examinée en détail. En adoptant une démarche interdisciplinaire, systémique et diachronique, ce travail de thèse vise à démontrer en quoi la pluriactivité favorise l’adaptation des populations à un environnement fluctuant dont la dynamique peut s’observer à trois échelles de temps : l’échelle saisonnière, l’échelle historique du ‘temps long’, et l’échelle de la vie de l’individu. Ce travail repose sur des entretiens ethnographiques, sur la collecte de données éco-hydrologiques, et sur des analyses du paysage réalisés pendant une période de terrain de huit mois dans le village de Mossaka dans la région de la Cuvette congolaise du bassin du Congo. Nous montrons dans un premier temps que l’association spatiale et temporelle d’une multiplicité de techniques de pêche, de plusieurs systèmes agricoles (agriculture sur champs surélevés et agriculture de décrue) dans lesquels est plantée une riche agrobiodiversité ainsi que de nombreuses autres activités dépendantes ou non des ressources naturelles, permettent aux habitants de Mossaka de s’adapter à la variabilité saisonnière du niveau d’eau. Ensuite, en reconstituant la diachronie du système social-écologique, nous regardons comment les différentes activités de subsistance et leur importance relative ont évolué depuis la période précoloniale et nous identifions les principaux leviers de changements. Nous décrivons plus particulièrement les changements démographiques, écologiques, économiques et sociaux qui ont conduit à l’adoption rapide de l’agriculture de décrue depuis une trentaine d’années. Enfin, en analysant les récits de vie de plusieurs habitants de Mossaka, nous montrons que la grande flexibilité des systèmes de subsistance pluriactifs des individus permet de répondre à différents enjeux et incertitudes notamment d’ordre social. Ce travail de thèse constitue un apport au faible nombre d’études qui regardent de manière intégrée les différentes activités composant les systèmes de subsistance en plaines inondables et se prononce en faveur d’une meilleure reconnaissance de la pluriactivité et également de la diversité sociale. Ce travail participe aussi à une meilleure compréhension de la région de la Cuvette congolaise qui, malgré son rôle écologique et économique majeur, a jusque-là peu attiré les intérêts scientifiques. Floodplains of large tropical rivers are environments characterized by periodic flooding from the river and its tributaries. Numerous studies emphasize the paradoxical aspect of these ecosystems, between ‘productive’ environments naturally fertilized by alluvial deposits, or 'constraining' and ‘risky’ environments. Livelihoods in the floodplains are varied, but in most cases people combine agricultural activities with fishing, pastoralism, hunting and the extraction of wild plant resources. Although the complementarity of production activities is recognized in most studies as an adaptation to exploit the diversity of natural resources at different stage of flooding, this multi-activity is rarely examined in detail. Adopting an interdisciplinary, systemic and diachronic approach, this thesis aims to demonstrate how multi-activity enhances the adaptation to a fluctuating environment whose dynamics can be observed at three main time scales: the seasonal scale, the historical scale and the scale of the individual's life. This work is based on ethnographic interviews, on collection of eco-hydrological data and on landscape analysis conducted during a period of eight months in the village of Mossaka in the Congolese cuvette region in the Congo basin. Firstly, we show that the spatial and temporal association of a diversity of activities allow the inhabitants of Mossaka to adapt to the seasonal variability of water level. These include a diversity of fishing techniques, several agricultural systems (raised-field agriculture and flood-recessional agriculture) in which a rich agrobiodiversity is planted, and many other activities—some depending on natural resources, others not. Secondly, by reconstructing the dynamics of the social-ecological system over time, we examine how the different activities, and their relative importance, have changed since the pre-colonial period and we identify the main drivers of change. In particular, we describe the demographic, ecological, economic and social changes that have led to the rapid adoption of flood-recessional agriculture in the last thirty years. Finally, by analyzing the life stories of several inhabitants of Mossaka, we show that the great flexibility of the multi-activity livelihood system allows people to adapt to different challenges and uncertainties—particularly social ones. This thesis contributes to the few studies that examine in an integrated manner the diversity of livelihood activities in floodplain environments, and advocates greater recognition of the importance of multi-activity livelihood systems and of social diversity. This work also contributes to a better understanding of the Congolese Cuvette region, which despite its major ecological and economic role has so far attracted little scientific interest.

    Authors: Moussa, Adoum Mahamat;

    Les études météorologiques et/ou climatologiques nécessitent des données diverses et indépendantes issues d’observations satellitaires ou in-situ. La répartition des stations in-situ dans la zone Sahélienne est moins dense, ce qui diminue la précision des modèles globaux dans cette zone.Dans ce travail, on analyse le potentiel des données de télédétection pour la restitution de quelques paramètres météorologiques et l’étude de quelques cas de lignes de grains passant au-dessus de Dakar au cours de l’année 2013.En prélude, une analyse en composante principale des données mensuelles infrarouges et micro-ondes a permis d’étudier les répartitions mensuelles des signatures spectrales des canaux ATOVS.Afin de restituer la quantité d’eau précipitable, la température et l'humidité relative, nous nous servons des données de radiosondage et des données de températures de brillance mesurées par les radiomètres hyperfréquences AMSU-A et AMSU-B, ainsi que celles des capteurs infrarouges HIRS embarqués à bord des satellites NOAA et MetOp. Malgré leur potentiel intéressant, les radiomètres ATOVS ont jusqu'ici été peu exploités pour la restitution de ces paramètres surtout dans la zone Sahélienne. Deux approches sont utilisées pour faire cette restitution : larégression linéaire multiple et les réseaux de neurones artificiels Nous avons également explorés les potentialités des données microondes etinfrarouges ATOVS pour l’étude des lignes de grains. En utilisant cinq (05) cas de passage des lignes de grains au-dessus de Dakar, la signature atmosphérique des données ATOVS avant, pendant et après le passage des lignes de grains fût déterminée.Pour chacun des cas, une étude comparative entre les valeurs de température de brillance du cas considéré et celles de la moyenne d’été a permis d’observer les canaux ayant des grandes sensibilités. Meteorologische und / oder Klimastudien erfordern verschiedene und unabhängige Daten aus In-Situ- und Satellitenbeobachtungen. Die Verteilung der In-situ-Stationen in der Sahelzone ist weniger dicht, was die Genauigkeit der globalen Modelle in diesem Bereich verringert. In dieser Arbeit analysieren wir das Potenzial von Fernerkundungsdaten für die Wiederherstellung einiger meteorologischer Parameter und die Untersuchung einiger Fälle von Sturmlinien, die 2013 über Dakar verlaufen.Als Auftakt wurde eine Hauptkomponentenanalyse der monatlichen Infrarot- und Mikrowellendaten verwendet, um die monatlichen Verteilungen der Spektralsignaturen der ATOVS-Kanäle zu untersuchen.Um den ausfällbaren Wasserdampf, die Temperatur und die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit abzufragen, verwenden wir die mit den Mikrowellenradiometern AMSU-A und AMSU-B gemessenen Radiosonden- und Helligkeitstemperaturdaten sowie die Infrarotsensoren HIRS an Bord von MetOp- und NOAA-Satelliten. Trotz ihres interessanten Potenzials wurden ATOVS-Radiometer bisher nur wenig für die Wiederherstellung dieser Parameter verwendet, insbesondere im Sahel.Für diese Wiederherstellung werden zwei Ansätze verwendet: multiple lineare Regression und künstliche neuronale Netze. Wir untersuchten auch das Potenzial von Mikrowellen- und Infrarot-ATOVS-Daten für die Untersuchung von Böenlinien. ATOVS-Daten unter Verwendung von fünf (05) Fällen, in denen Böenlinien oberhalb von Dakar passiert wurdenEs wurde die atmosphärische Signatur vor, während und nach dem Passieren von Böenlinien bestimmt. In jedem Fall erlaubte eine Vergleichsstudie zwischen den Helligkeitstemperaturwerten und denen des durchschnittlichen Sommers, die Kanäle mit Haupt zu beobachtenEmpfindlichkeiten. Meteorological and / or climate studies require various and independent data from in-situ and satellite observations. The distribution of in-situ stations in the Sahelian zone is less dense, reducing global models accuracy in this area. In this work, we analyze the potential of remote sensing data for the restitution of some meteorological parameters and the study of some cases of squall lines passing over Dakar in 2013.As a prelude, a principal component analysis of the infrared and microwave monthly data was used to study the monthly distributions of the ATOVS channels spectral signatures.To retrieve the precipitable water vapor, temperature and relative humidity, we use the radiosonde and brightness temperature data measured by microwave radiometers AMSU-A and AMSU-B, as well as infrared sensors HIRS on board MetOp and NOAA satellites. Despite their interesting potential, ATOVS radiometers have so far been little used for the restitution of these parameters retrieval especially in the Sahelian area.Two approaches are used to make this restitution: multiple linear regression and artificial neural networks. We also explored the potential of microwave and infrared ATOVS data for the study of squall lines. Using five (05) cases of passing squall lines above Dakar, ATOVS dataatmospheric signature before, during and after the passage of squall lines was determined. In each case, a comparative study between the brightness temperature values and those of the average summer allowed to observe the channels having majorsensitivities.

    Les robots sont très largement utilisés dans l’industrie ; une de leurs limites actuelles est celle de la complexité́ des tâches que l'on souhaite les voir accomplir. Celles-là ne peuvent être réalisées sans un haut pouvoir d’adaptation, autrement dit aujourd’hui sans la performance et la plasticité́ de la cognition humaine. La cobotique est récemment apparue comme « le domaine » de la collaboration homme-robot. Elle s’affirme comme perspective pour aider l’homme, l’augmenter, dans la réalisation de tâches complexes pour l’Industrie du Futur.Pour délimiter notre objet d’étude, nous avons ainsi introduit le concept de « système cobotique ». Ce système comprend l’homme et le robot, qui interagissent et peuvent avoir différents rôles, pour réaliser une tâche commune. La conception des systèmes cobotiques doit évidemment prendre en compte les technologies émergentes, mais elle doit surtout intégrer l’homme, grâce à l’analyse de l’activité, à la formalisation des connaissances, et aux simulations participatives. Pour cela, à l’initiative de Safran Group, cette thèse d’ingénierie cognitique a été réalisée en binôme avec un roboticien également doctorant et membre du groupe industriel : David Bitonneau.Ensemble, nous avons proposé une approche interdisciplinaire de conception, appelée l’« ingénierie des systèmes cobotiques ». Cette approche méthodologique, validée à la fois par nos encadrants académiques et industriels, a été expérimentée afin de satisfaire un besoin industriel de la société Ariane Group : le nettoyage des cuves. Nous avons conduit ce projet, de l’analyse du besoin jusqu’à la réalisation d’un prototype qui a été évalué par les opérateurs. L’industrialisation du système est en cours de préparation au moment de la rédaction de cette thèse, avec des perspectives de déploiements sur plusieurs sites.Nous prévoyons que les systèmes cobotiques tels que nous les avons définis, conçus et étudiés, seront une des clés de la compétitivité de l’Industrie du Futur. Elle pourra s’appuyer sur leur flexibilité et leur connectivité à l’écosystème technologique des ateliers 4.0, tout en maintenant la place centrale de l’homme et en considérant celui-là comme acteur premier dans le système. Nowadays, robots are increasingly used in industrial processes. However, there is an upper bound on the tasks' complexity that industrial robots can execute. Some of these hard tasks can only be completed with a high adaptation capacity: the plasticity of human cognition. Research in Human Robot Collaboration targets the Industry 4.0 where robots will help and augment humans to achieve increasingly complex tasks.In this research, we introduce the concept of “cobotic system”. Such a system considers humans and robots - with possibly different roles - as interacting elements sharing a common purpose of solving a task. Clearly, creation of cobotic systems has to take into account emerging technologies, but it also has to include humans through activity analysis, knowledge formalization, and participative simulations. To do so, under the leadership of Safran Group, this cognitive engineering thesis has been completed as a team with the roboticist David Bitonneau.Together, we proposed the “cobotic system engineering”: a cross-disciplinary approach of cobotic system design. This methodological approach was motivated by an industrial need from Airbus Group: the difficulty of tank cleaning. We tackled this project from needs analysis to the creation of a prototype evaluated by actual operators. Additionally, the industrialization of our work is in progress.We argue that thanks to their flexibility, their connectivity to modern workshops' technological ecosystem and their ability to take humans into account, cobotic systems will be one of the key parts composing the Industry 4.0.

    Authors: Vallérian, Mathieu;
